Well said! Though I can't see how you'd think the TR6 looks better
than the GT6. :-o
When I was looking for the GT6 which became the second Triumph (and
actually even when I was looking for the Spitfire which became the
first), my better half Sharon had a big voice. She is only 5'2".
When sitting in any of the bigger cars, by any maker from any
country, the top of the door always came up so high to her chin that
it left her feelilng like she was sitting in a bathtub with little
view of the world outside. (No, we didn't try any side-curtain
vehicle.) So the short wheelbase versions were the only options!
Now she prefers the GT6's hard roof whenever we have further to go
than a few miles.
You're absolutely right about the benefits of driving them, roofed or
otherwise. It sure makes the commute better for the soul.
But then, I'm just rambling.
