Russell, my favorite parts vendor is The Roadster Factory (TRF), mostly
because the owner Charles Runyan is a genuine Triumph enthusiast and
personally attends most of the major events.

However, they can be a bit strange to deal with, as they don't publish
catalogs for the TR2-4A ! Instead, you have to buy a copy of the factory
'Spare Parts Catalog' (SPC) and then order by factory part number. I find
that I really like this system, now that I'm accustomed to it, but I thought
it was really odd at first. Also check out their "Car Club", as it can
offer a significant discount if you order parts on a regular basis.

TRF's main competition is Moss Motors
http://mossmotors.com
They are better in some ways, for example they have both a free printed
catalog for TR2-4A and a very nice web site. But while they do have some
employees that drive Triumphs (Hi Peter), I get the impression that MGs are
their primary interest.

There are scads of other vendors, but I'll let the other listers expound on
them. One good resource for identifying possible vendors is the "Monster
List", at
http://www.team.net/sol/britpart.html

For a maintenance manual, I would look for both an original factory manual
(or a reprint, commonly called a Bentley), and a copy of the TR2-4A Haynes
manual. Both are available from TRF, the Haynes is P/N HA28, the Bentley is
P/N RBTR4. They also show up from time to time on eBay, in various
conditions, for significantly less money.

There are also several books in print on the subject of restoration.
