To bend the weather strip channel, cut a strip of soft metal to the
width that will slide inside the channel. You will then have to drive
the filler strip out. The slope of the sill adds to the difficulty.

I supported the body on a frame work of 4x4 posts 8' high. A long 4x4
went across the top. Horizontal 2x6 were secured at the high point of
the chassis (radiator, carburetors ?). I then attached two "come
alongs" (front and rear), hoisted the body up, slide two 4x4s across
the horizontal 2x6s and sat it down on the rockers. Roll the chassis
back under. I could do remove and replace by myself and needed to do
it many times to check alignment of body repairs.

Later in the restoration, the body went onto a moveable dolly.
