Greatly doubt you'd see one in Iraq. I was there for prolonged periods and all
over the country between 1980 and 1991 - never saw one. Sports cars would have
been useless because of the roads and british air-conditioning systems were so
ineffective and power-sapping, they weren't worth the candle. Air-con is
essential throughout the year. ISTR it was mainly Japanese 4x4's and long
wheelbase double cab Toyota and Nissan pick-ups.
