Yeah ... that's kind of what I thought. I don't fully understand
how this got to be this way (it's a used pump, bought rebuilt).

That's interesting. Last time I looked for a pulley, admittedly
several years back, they didn't seem to be available for the 
original-style pumps.

However ... much to my surprise and delight, Fred Thomas
has offered to send me a pulley.

It's even powder coated!

Thanks all. I might try repairing this one as an exercise.
