These "spats" were made by "Al Roth" a Calf. residents hobbiest for many
years, I had them on my car way back when, look out of place with the
slooping door, if you have a flat on the highway forget it, they were also
screwed into the upper fender lip as well as the rod/finger mounting across
the bottom, no room for a hand between the axle & "Spat" except when the car
is raised in the air. "FT"
