After 18 years of what I called the "Captain Hazelwood Oil Change" I finally 
put a spin-on on my TR3A.  What a difference!

One of the first things I did to the '4 when I got it last year was the spin-on.

My cars are + ground, dynamos, points, etc -- I'm not a stickler for 
originality but it is my preference -- but the spin-on is
just too darn handy to live without.

I do paint the filters a shade of green that approximates the original canister 
-- looks a bit more at home (IMO) than the
orange.
