All: I have a '72 TR6 with overdrive whose differential has given up the ghost. Instead of the usual $800 rebuild, I'm thinking about installing a used unit and limping along with that for a while. Are all TR6 diffs the same? And, having installed a different diff on the same prop shaft, what if anything do I need to do to keep the old prop and the new diff in harmony, as per balance? -- Martin Secrest 72 TR6 Arlington, VA /// triumphs@autox.team.net mailing list /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool /// Archives at http://www.team.net/archive |
