Wow...looking through the Spit manual...the '73 Spitfire
schematic MATCHES EXACTLY what's in the GT6!
Now correct me if I'm wrong... but didn't the '73 Spit still
have the D type O/D?
If you look at the wiring schematic there is NO O/D relay
and a gear lever mounted O/D switch!
This is exactly the wiring layout of the late MKIII GT6!
(except I had to make the O/D harness). Apparently
the D type was used WITHOUT a relay in '73!
