Just a quick note about some viruses. One (at least) of the latest
versions going around grabs random names from the address book on the
infected machine and uses them in the "From:" line in email that it
sends to other names also taken from the address book. It also sends
some random file or message. The point is this: If someone receives
a note supposedly from "Jimbo", it may not have come from him. In
fact, it probably didn't. But it also means that *someone else* is
infected, someone who doesn't know it! (That person may be you.)
The one thing we do know is that it is someone who has been a list
member at some time in the past. Might I suggest everyone run a
virus scan?
