After my last post regarding values showing up on E-Bay I started trying to
keep "ratings" of the various cars. This is on a scale of 1 to 5 with one
being "best of show" and five being "part cars only." (There are virtually
no "1" cars and very few 5's!) Bear in mind that these are totally
subjective and based solely on the seller's descriptions. Again, I have
included only cars that sold and I have try to eliminated the real "odd
balls" (v-8 conversions, race cars and those situations where the picture or
description were so poor as to be worthless). As with any such undertaking
there are anomalies (like the "1.75" TR8 that sold for $350) and obvious
errors, but I have try to eliminate those anomalies and errors when I was
able to catch them. This list only includes cars since I have begun
"rating" them. If anyone is interested in the whole list, or the raw data,
feel free to contact me off list.
