If you car is like how my 71 was (before I installed the 73 vintage frame)
it should be easy to remove the flange bolts.  The later style rear mount
makes it so difficult that I gave up and pulled the interior.  How is your
72 configured?

It might be best to let them dissassmble it and determine what parts you
need.  I don't know of any "kits" out there.

Yes and you need new ones to cure the whine.  They can put it back together
with the set you have but it will whine henceforth.  And if you are going
to this much trouble you may as well do it up right now.
