The spec calls for 0.004" to 0.006", I measure 0.007" with standard size
thrust washers. The next size up is 0.005" over, which should give me
0.002", too tight. Is it OK to fit half of the oversized set (which should
in theory get me to 0.0045").

Or is 0.007" fine, given that Bently's lists much larger numbers for
manufacturing limits and wear limits?
