Hi all,
Okay this is really getting beyond a joke. The rebuilder rebuilt the water
pump again and this time they even magnafluxed it to make sure they didn't
miss anything. I put it back on the '3 last night and began filling the
cooling system tonight. Guess what, coolant out the breather hole again!
This time I just gave them the pump itself and on reassembly I noticed 2
holes (1/16" approx) on the flange that is against the housing. Are these
supposed to be there? They are drilled clean so I figure they should be.
They look like they lead directly to the housing and the coolant. If so
there appears to be no way this would ever seal????
