Earl,
I got my TR-6 bumpers rechromed and cost me $500.00cdn($350.00us)each. If I
remember correctly mine were done in 3 stages. copper, nickel then chrome.
There are cheaper with have only chrome and they don't last as long. You may
want to call a few places and ask what different types of chroming processes
they do. The better chroming process will last much longer. But I also live
in Montreal where humidity and cold wheather take a toll on metal. You may
want to check out this web site and see the different types of chroming. You
can also email them for advise. http://www.ggplating.com/index-full.htm
Good luck,
Patrick

Subject: Rechrome question
Listerati,
I have a TR4 front and rear bumper (plus over-riders) along with tail light
surrounds that will have to be rechromed. The local boys don't come to
highly recommended. Any suggestions/tips/ recommendations? Who does a good
job? I'm in California.
TIA, Earl
