I agree. 
I even sent a "polite" response to the individual that told me he knew the 
answer to my question but didn't feel obligated to answer it as I hadn't 
bought my "stuff" from him. (That was on the MG T list)
Actually, I can't remember a time when I didn't get an acknowledgment - 
except for the Jag list but that's a different story.
