Hugh, I will look again for the photo.  Yes, the collapsible aerial was
attached to the passenger-side upright of the windshield frame.  This, I
believe, would entail drilling at least three holes (two for the aerial
brackets, one for the aerial lead) to mount.  The trick would be finding a
source for the aerial outside a dealer stockroom (junkyard?).
