Someone I know from work recently acquired a 1979 Spitfire 1500. He's
concerned about the car passing the local emissions testing. He says the
engine is original but has had the pollution equipment removed. He has the
underhood plumbing bits in a box, but wants to know where to find a suitable
catalytic converter. Here in Ohio testing is done only in certain counties
and there is a 25 year limit. I guess he doesn't want to just wait 3 more
years.
