In my case the answer would be "V-head, slotted & steel" are what hold the
mounting plate to the body. The actual stancion is then held to the plate with
a
pair of Dzus fasteners.
You may need to give a commission number to get a definitve answer as I believe
these parts changed during the 1959 model year.
