clean more connections. the ones up front?  its the same flasher for both
sides, if the speed is different there must be some difference in the
conditions under which it is working, i.e. load. Maybe one of the bulbs is
of the wrong wattage.

Folks-

Thanks for all the responses. since the lights would turn on, the problem
lied in the rear housing socket of the rear turn signal. I cleaned the
inside connections with a screwdriver and the flasher worked.

However, the left side doesn't flash as fast as the right side. Relay?
