Many thanks to all who responded. Found the switch - fact that it was
covered in paint and blended into the background is my defence!
Anyway, switch is wired interestingly. It is on the same circuit as the dash
panel lights, which I guess means it is only supposed to come on when the
lights are on and the trunk is open. Does this sound correct or have my
electrics been "altered"?
