Hi,
As Karen's Mk1 2000 has now been behaving itself for some time, we
intend to finally get the paintwork sorted so she looks as good as she
drives. The only panelwork needed (until we get unser the original paint at
least!) is to 3 of the doors. The front pair both have dents/creases around
the doorhandles, while thenearside rear has rust in the flange which holds
the weatherstrip - it also has some bubbles coming through at the bottom
edge so a new skin at least looks likely for all 3. Does anyone have a good
set of doors available, preferably within striking distance of Calne in
Wiltshire? I'm happy to travel but I don't want to have to collect them from
the Outer Hebrides! The car is a 1968 Mk1 Saloon, though Mk2 doors will be
fine. Valencia blue would be absolutely ideal, though I guess we're dreaming
now!
