Help.
My ignition switch is suddenly and mysteriously jammed
shut and is not allowing the key to be inserted.
Everything has been fine for years. The keys are not
bent. I've wiggled, pushed, and pryed a little to no
avail. It's a total mystery and I think that I've got
some real trouble here. And the Bently book's
description of the remove and replace looks awfully
tough.
Has anyone been through this? If it comes to it, do I
have to remove the whole unit or can a modern
locksmith replace the inner workings right in the car?
