     Do Spit and GT6 driveshaft flanges interchange?

Yes and no.  Early cars have flanges with a 2.75" bolt circle, I think it is.
Later Mark 4 & 5 cars have a 3" bolt circle flange, like the GT6s.  They do,
however, all share the same size U joint.  Which means one can easily swap
flanges at one end or the other to mate to a newer or older gearbox or diff.
The lengths of the Spit and GT6 are the same, the non-overdrive shaft is a bit
longer than the prop shaft for an overdrive equipped car.
