Hi Everyone,

I recently read an article by Ken Gillanders about Camshaft timing gears on
the TR 4 cylinder engines. He stated the mounting holes on aftermarket gears
were not drilled offset to the teeth to allow timing changes at assembly as
detailed in the workshop manual.

I recently purchased a new gear from TRF. I sent an Email to inquire about
this potential problem - the gear would be worthless if you can't properly
time it.

The Roadster Factory has not responded after 2 weeks.

Does anyone know if the current TRF gear lacks the offset or has this issue
been corrected??

Thanks,

Brad
