As long as we are "blue skying" the Convoy to Breckenridge, here are
some mileages along the route I suggested:
San Francisco -> Lockeford 92
Lockeford -> Carson City 140
Carson City -> Fallon 65 Refuel here
Fallon -> Ely 260 Overnight?
557 Miles so far, too many??
Ely -> Salina, UT 222
Salina -> Grand Jct, CO 210
Grand Jct -> Breckenridge 182...Long Day.
614 Miles, seems like
pushing it
Clearly I am open to suggestions, just how far can you travel in a
LBC in very hot weather?? Casper will need to stop for gas @ around
250 miles +- and the stretch from Fallon to Ely has very few, make
that almost none, gas stations (or anything else).
What the Hell, it is and ADVENTURE!!! <G>
