Dane,

Yes you can.  All you have to do is drop the pan and remove the #4 main
bearing cap and the washers will rotate right out and the new ones in.

But while you're in there...

Why not replace all the crank bearings and the oilpump.  Doing this in a
timely basis can get you another 50,000 miles out of it.  Search the VTR
archives for a worked-to-death treatise on this topic (or just stay tuned
since you brought up the topic).

Been there, done that.
