You actually have several opportunities for leaks in the neighborhood of the
adapter. I'd get some Gunk and degrease it all real good and then try to
identify the source. Possibilities include leaks from dizzy pedestal, the
fuel pump, the oil sending unit (both electrical for the light and for the
gauge) and a couple plugs in the neighborhood. I think the pressure relief
valve is there too. Degrease the whole area and with a little cruise the
source should become clear.

I converted to a spin on oil filter adapter a few
years ago for my TR6. Lately, I have been getting
rather large oil leaks (even for a triumph) which seem
to be dripping around the clutch slave, which
coincidentally is close to the oil filter adapter.
The adapter seems tight. Maybe it could be the
gaskets? Has anyone had a problem with a leaking spin
on oil filter adapter?
