Thanks to all that submitted answers to my "First Start" dilemma. It was through the input here that led me to the problem. Yes. The re-builder did not have the tab washers installed, the clearance was enough to put the bolts against the block preventing the motor from turning. I pulled the transmission, backed out the flywheel bolts and the motor turned as smooth as a baby's ass. I love you guys. I honestly don't know what I would have done without you. Thank you again. -JP '59TR3A TS40984 "Parts All Over The House" [demime 0.97c removed an attachment of type image/jpeg which had a name of DSC01061.JPG"; x-mac-creator="6F676C65"; x-mac-type="4A504547] [demime 0.97c removed an attachment of type image/jpeg which had a name of FlywheelBolt.JPG"; x-mac-creator="6F676C65"; x-mac-type="4A504547] |
