Mine's bored 60 over. That was needed to bring the cyl.s back into round.
Just easierand less expensive (a big consideration at the time) to do on the
rebuild than resleveing. No problem getting the pistons and rings. 20, 40
and 60 overs are available with no problem. My TR is pretty quick but I
don't have any idea how much quicker than standard, if at all.

I am looking at maximizing the performance from a TR6 engine. How much can
these engines be bored out? Does this produce much of an increase in power?
Also, how difficult or expensive is it to get pistons -  presumably they
would be limited production item? Thanks for any suggestions.
