Engine Removal 72 TR 6

To All:

Can someone tell me if the crossmember
in the front of engine needs to be removed
before the engine can be lifted out
of the car.

Also do I need to remove the transmission
first.

Can someone please respond directly to me
as I am only on the digest list.
