Unique Automotive Tools and Supplies</A> sells an assortment of thin nylon washers for just such a purpose. They can be trimmed to size of bolt head etc. I have also seen different thin fiber washers for sale at Lowe's in their specialty fastener section. I have no connection with Eastwood whatsoever.
