Koni Question for TR3

Hello TR Fans,

My neighbor has just finished installing 'adjustable' Classic Konis and new 
springs on the front of his 3.

His question is: How does one adjust the Konis after they're installed? 
After listening to the difficulties

he experienced in putting them on, maybe I should have less TR envy over my 
Spit.

Any advice would gladly be appreciated,
