What do you use between rim and tube on older wire wheels (which can't handle tubless tires)? These are on a TR6 if it matters. I finally have new tires, and have contacted a local company regarding powder coating the rims. I haven't yet had the old tires removed, and don't know if they have rubber strips or just a couple wraps of duct tape. Where do you get the strips? Or is tape ok? Or... Thanks for suggestions.
