Carburetor/Injector cleaner okay?

Are the common brands of carburetor/fuel injector cleaner, such as those
made by "STP", "Gunk", etc., all right to use occasionally in a TR6 (just
for general maintenance of the system).  Many of these apparently do *not*
contain alcohol any longer, which I'd heard was a problem previously.
