I went out last night to try and lift the back end of the engine so I could
clear the gearbox for removal. I have a 2x10 block piece under the oil pan
and then the jack. As I try and lift the engine I notice it doesn't seem to
moving that much so I give a little more and then notice the oil pan
starting to collapse! Of course I stopped and let the pressure off.
Now what am I doing wrong here? Can I put the jack under the flywheel
flange and lift there??
Thanks in advance
