So, if I run a 12v coil (for the sake of argument and so I can make sense of this) WITHOUT a resistor, that's ok, and if I run a 6v WITH a resistor, that's ok, on any model TR6, BUT since the car in question is a 73, then in order to take advantage of (better starting/cranking?)due to the starter solenoid I need to keep running the 6v with the resistor.
