TR6-installing an OD trans

I hope to install a new-to-me OD trans in my previously non-OD 76 
tomorrow (Yay!).  Also, a new clutch, TOB and lightened flywheel.  I have 
the Bentley manual but don't see any guidance on how or whether to 
lubricate the TOB/primary shaft etc.  Should I, and if so, what kind of 
grease & how much?  Any other advice on this process is most welcome.
