Yes - and Yes to the unasked question - Would I recommend it? It was one of
the few things I took off my driver before I sold it... Others were:
Fog/Driving Lamp/Badge Bar; Aluminum Oil Pan; and Triumphs@autox.team.net
sticker...

To all,
I came accross this web site http://www.greenheart.com/jmwagner/gasket.html
and wondered if anyone has tried this product.

(the following description is from the web site)
Introducing a high performance silicon gasket for the Triumph TR2, TR3,
TR3A, TR4, TR4A.
This gasket installs in minutes, will not leak, and will stand up yo many
repeated uses in high temporature.
(currently developing a similar gasket for Triumph TR5, TR250, TR6, GT6,
Spitfire)
"Justin Wagner has owned TR4As since 1977 and, fed up with the shortcomings
of normal rocket cover gaskets, has developed his own high performance
version made of silicone. Designed to follow the contours of the standard
rocket cover (even if it has not aged gracefully), the new gasket has high
inner and outter rails to prevent it from slipping out of position while
fitting or when in use. Ribs along the main contact area ensure a perfect
seal and Justin says his gasket does not require any additional sealant or
glue, and will not leak! There are two color available. Blue is a firmer
grade of silicone, rated for higher temperatures. and is recommended for
racing applications. Black is fine for normal use. Justin says he is hoping
to produce similar gaskets for other Triumph models in due course." Triumph
World Magazine, December/January 1998.

This sounds good. I'd like to try one when the TR6 version is available.
In the mantime, has anyone else tried on on a TR3 or 4?
