Whazzit From? -- Mystery Car Dashboard

A member of our local club -- owner of many many LBCs including Triumph
-- picked up an item from eBay with no idea what car it may have come
from.  Any chance someone out there knows?

It appears to be British and pre-war so maybe someone in the UK will see
something familiar in this picture...
