Wow!  I had no idea I was meeting a myth at last years TRF Summer Party!!  I
guess I was right when he seemed too good to be true!

There seems to be a widely held but totally mistaken belief that Ted
Schumacher is a real person.

Recent sightings have been reported fromt the Chicagoland swap meet
purveying parts out of little red containers, in a motor home at a gas
stop in Georgia,
 peddling black-and-white checkered bikinis at Daytona, having ribs
at Sebring, and telling tall tales about past exploits with Lanky
Forchet.

No one single person can do all these things and be in this many places.
Too similar to the Elvis stories. Keep trying by email, however, for one
of these impersonators occasionally answers, using the Ted Schumacher
nom de plume.
