Hello listers,

I found this info in my notes:

>From April 1996 issue of Classic Cars
   Compression Ratio = (Cyl. Pressure - 19.7)/14.7
     likewise,
   Cyl. Pressure = (Compression Ratio * 14.7) + 19.7

This yields the following values for TR6 engines with stock
compression ratios:

   1969-76 PI Compression Ratio = 9.5:1 Cyl. Pressure = 159.4 psi
   1969-71 Compression Ratio = 8.5:1 Cyl. Pressure = 144.7 psi
   1972-73 Compression Ratio = 7.75:1 Cyl. Pressure = 133.6 psi
   1974-76 Compression Ratio = 7.5:1 Cyl. Pressure = 130.0 psi
