Looks like I need some help or advice again. The rear end on my Solid
Axel TR4A needs to be over hauled or replaced. Has any one done this ? Are
parts available? This unit is still working but making much noise. Very
loud whine at high speed. Ran very low on lub. I think outer bearing are
shot. Ring and Pinion may be weak. How much trouble is this thing to
rebuild in a home shop? What tools are necessary? I have access to a hub
puller made for a TR3. Is it better to get a shop to do this work? Any
recommendations or advice would be appreaciated. Please reply to me at
rmesser_tr4a@hotmail.com Does anyone have a good used one?
Thanks
