My car has been with out the finnisher strip on my '78 bodied GT-6 convertible for the past 7 or 8 years. No problems. I did the same on a previous TR-6. I also preferred the more plane look of an all black seal. The finisher strip is decorative only (checked this out years ago when I had to replace the windshield in my TR-6). |
