Midget 1500 Transmisson

Does anybody know of a source that gives details on the gearing of the
Midget 1500 Transmission.

I am looking for an inexpensive source for a transmission that has a
closer ratio gear set than those of the Spitfire transmissions.  This is
for my race car project.
