Gentlemen,
I am intending to fit a tubular exhaust manifold to the Herald 1200
when it returns to the road next year. I understand this will not be
possible with the standard crank-case breather (angled pipe on right hand
side of the block) in place as this will foul the manifold. How was this
overcome on the Mk2 Spitfire? Was the hole in the block simply plugged and
breathing taken through the rocker cover? Afraid I don't have a Mk2 parts
list to compare against.
        Thanks in advance,
                Bill Davies.
