TR6 PI fuel tank question

The PI tank has an internal "swirl tank" to try & stop surge but it did 
not work very well. We retro-fit dual outlets, one on each side of the 
tank & this helps a lot. The spill back tube extends down into the said 
tank to try & stop air bubbles forming.

The pump drain pipe only poked thru the body about 1".
