Windscreen Cracking

I thought I was moving ahead when I reinstalled my windscreen on my TR3 with
that little rubber spacer behind the mirror. Last year I didn't have one.
This morning as I took off down the road a crack appeared vertically right
down the middle. Oh $@$%^#&@&$%@.
Just needed to vent,
