Tire opinions for a GT6+

My mechanic says sumotomo (sp?) makes some good inexpensive tires for what I
want...I do not care about longevity, so a soft tire is fine. I want a high
performance (handling , not speed) tire for 95% dry running (the other 5% is
for when the forecastors screw up and I need to get home).

What have you GT6ers liked so far?
