Nick, Good to hear from you again! Sorry I don't know anything about do-it-yourself painting so can't help you there. However, I just picked up my freshly painted TR3 from a body shop in San Bruno (just south of San Francisco) last night. They had it less than three and 1/2 weeks! I took it to them completely apart, the tub on a wooden dolly I made, four fenders, etc. etc. They did a beautiful job. I am very pleased!!!!
